Itinerary Day to Day
Arrival in Ushuaia
Arrive in Ushuaia, Argentina – the world’s southernmost city. Fresh southern breezes and the squawks of gulls greet guests upon arrival at a city proud to call itself the End of the World. Ascend the hills above the city and check into your beautifully appointed pre-voyage hotel, the perfect place to relax with a glass of Malbec after travel, or the ideal gateway to explore this magnificent region.
Before your Antarctic adventure, explore this vibrant Patagonian city, shop for handmade crafts, or stretch your legs in the surrounding forests. Alternatively, consider a day trip off the beaten path into the raw nature of Tierra del Fuego. The island of Tierra del Fuego is a hiker’s paradise with rugged snow-capped mountains, glaciers, flower-filled meadows and rich boggy wetlands holding unique wildlife, from guanacos to condors.
