Highlights

  • Cruise into Antarctica’s whale-rich bays, where humpbacks, minkes, and orcas gather to feast and breach in icy splendor.
  • Zodiac through iceberg-dotted waters and visit penguin-filled shores, historic stations, and majestic glacier-front harbors.
  • Sail the legendary Drake Passage, tracing explorers’ paths while marveling at albatrosses, petrels, and endless horizons.

Embark on a mesmerizing 10-day expedition from Ushuaia—the world’s southernmost city—into the heart of Antarctica’s whale-dominated waters. As your ship crosses the legendary Drake Passage, follow in the wake of early polar pioneers and watch as seabirds—albatrosses, petrels, and fulmars—dance across the open skies, signaling your arrival in a realm unlike any other.

Upon reaching the Antarctic Peninsula, a pristine world of glaciers, mountains, and drifting icebergs unfolds before you. This voyage takes place during peak whale-watching season, when humpback, minke, and even orca whales thrive in krill-rich bays like Paradise Harbour and Wilhelmina Bay. Zodiacs bring you close to these gentle giants as they breach, dive, and feed in the icy depths.

Each landing offers a new discovery—gentoo penguin colonies bustling with life on Danco Island, the historic outpost of Port Lockroy, and the breathtaking fjords of Neko Harbour and the Lemaire Channel. Between excursions, lectures by onboard naturalists deepen your understanding of Antarctica’s wildlife, geology, and storied past.

As you sail back across the Drake, the thrill of exploration lingers. You’ll return not just with unforgettable photographs, but with a profound sense of connection—to nature’s raw power, to the spirit of adventure, and to one of the last truly wild places on Earth. Perfect for wildlife enthusiasts, photographers, and dreamers alike, this journey promises awe at every icy horizon.
