Highlights

  • Intimate and immersive cruising experience where guests can forge meaningful connections with fellow travelers and enjoy the undivided attention of the attentive staff.
  • Generously sized cabins and expansive common areas and observation decks so guests have plenty of room to relax and take in the stunning landscapes of the polar regions
  • State-of-the-art facilities including an ice-strengthened hull and forward-looking sonar to ensure a safe and exhilarating journey in these challenging environments

Embark on an unforgettable journey aboard the MS Expedition, an ice-strengthened polar vessel originally built in 1972 but completely and meticulously refurbished in 2009 for exploration and comfort. Whether you’re drawn to the majestic landscapes of the Arctic or the pristine beauty of Antarctica, the 134-passenger Expedition promises an intimate small-ship cruising experience unlike any other where you can immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring surroundings.

Step into spacious cabins located across five different decks, all with en suite bathrooms and ocean-facing windows (or portholes). There are five types of cabin to choose from: quad-, triple-, twin-share cabins, or the highest category 5 suites, all with twin-size berths with the exception of the suites which feature a queen bed and floor-to-ceiling windows.

The ship’s design prioritizes comfort, ensuring that every guest has ample space and all the amenities they’ll need for a relaxing stay. From the gym and sauna to the computer room and gift shop, the MS Expedition offers an array of common areas and features to enhance your onboard experience. Stay connected with satellite-linked internet from the computer room, immerse yourself in a good book from the Lonely Planet library, or shop for souvenirs to commemorate your journey.
