Antarctic Peninsula: An Immersive Odyssey journeys from Ushuaia at the tip of South America into the heart of the White Continent, where jagged peaks, sculpted glaciers, and ice filled channels define one of Earth’s last great wildernesses. Exploring the South Shetland Islands and the Antarctic Peninsula places you in landscapes shaped by epic exploration history and alive with penguin rookeries, seals on the ice, and whales feeding in nutrient rich waters.

Traveling during the Antarctic summer brings long daylight hours, accessible shorelines, and peak wildlife activity. This is when penguins are busiest in their colonies, whales are most active, and the continent reveals its most dramatic contrasts of blue ice, snow, and sea, all under surprisingly crisp and clear conditions.

Days are spent balancing adventure and insight. Zodiac cruises weave between towering icebergs, landings invite hikes to panoramic viewpoints and close encounters with wildlife, and expert led lectures deepen your understanding of polar science and history. Onboard the Ocean Nova, open bridge access, hearty meals, and shared moments with fellow explorers create a strong sense of camaraderie. For the bold, optional camping, paddling, snowshoeing, and the exhilarating polar plunge push the experience even further.

Crossing the Drake Passage and setting foot on Antarctica is a rare human achievement that few ever experience. This voyage often leaves guests feeling profoundly inspired, humbled, and re energized, carrying home not just photographs but a lasting sense of having ventured far beyond the ordinary. It is ideal for curious adventurers, wildlife lovers, photographers, and anyone drawn to authentic exploration at the edge of the world.
