Lo más destacado

  • Spot polar bears, walruses & whales as you explore Spitsbergen’s glacier-carved fjords and remote, ice-covered shores.
  • Ride Zodiacs through the pristine Arctic to approach towering bird cliffs, immense glaciers, and drifting sea ice up close.
  • Sail as far north as 80°N into the Seven Islands, venturing into one of the planet’s most remote and rarely visited regions.

Venture into the untouched northern reaches of Svalbard on this remarkable Arctic voyage, where jagged coastlines, massive glaciers, and drifting sea ice set the stage for extraordinary wildlife encounters. Over the course of 7 adventure-filled days, you’ll sail from Longyearbyen along Spitsbergen’s rugged coast, weaving between dramatic fjords and icy channels that are home to polar bears, walruses, and whales—including elusive bowheads and enormous fin whales foraging in the upwelling-rich waters of the continental shelf.

Departing in the heart of the Arctic summer, this voyage offers travelers the midnight sun, 24-hour daylight for optimal wildlife spotting, and the opportunity to witness life at its most extreme. From the shimmering blue face of Monaco Glacier to the bird-filled cliffs of Alkefjellet, and the surreal stillness of the Seven Islands just 540 miles from the North Pole, each day offers a new chapter of discovery—often dictated by nature herself.

With experienced expedition guides leading Zodiac excursions, wildlife sightings, and educational lectures, you’ll actively engage with the polar environment both on and off the ship. Hike tundra-dotted terrain where Arctic foxes and reindeer roam, cruise past ice floes that may host lounging seals or hunting polar bears, and immerse yourself in the raw, humbling power of the High Arctic.

Emotionally, this voyage will leave you with a profound sense of awe and respect for the resilience of life in the far north. For many, reaching 80°N represents a personal milestone—an achievement that few people on Earth ever accomplish. It’s an expedition perfect for those who crave wild places, value rare wildlife encounters, and seek to explore some of the planet’s most inaccessible and majestic frontiers.

Día 1

Longyearbyen

You touch down in Longyearbyen, the administrative center of Spitsbergen, the largest island of the Svalbard archipelago. Enjoy strolling around this former mining town, whose parish church and Svalbard Museum make for fascinating attractions. Though the countryside appears stark, more than a hundred species of plant have been recorded in it. In the early evening the ship sails out of Isfjorden, where you might spot the first minke whale of your voyage.
