Highlights

  • Discover Svalbard’s iconic wildlife in its raw habitat—from walrus herds and puffins to polar bears on sea ice and tundra.
  • Cruise sculpted fjords and hike Arctic tundra bursting with wildflowers—each journey a vivid chapter in Arctic exploration.
  • Plunge into polar waters, kayak past soaring cliffs, and embrace a true expedition shaped each day by nature’s rhythm and raw beauty.

Prepare to journey deep into one of Earth’s most remote and pristine regions—Svalbard, the crown of the High Arctic—on this 12-day expedition cruise that promises staggering beauty, surprising biodiversity, and a palpable sense of polar wonder. Starting in Norway’s capital, Oslo, and flying north to Longyearbyen, the gateway to the Arctic, this voyage takes you far beyond the ordinary and into a realm shaped by glaciers, fjords, and the legends of early polar explorers.

Sailing in the height of the Arctic summer, when the midnight sun lights up the landscape 24/7, you’ll find Svalbard at its most alive. Sea ice is in retreat, opening access to wildlife hotspots where walrus haul out to rest, guillemots and puffins nest in their thousands, and polar bears patrol the icy wilderness in search of prey. With the flexibility of a daily-adapted itinerary, your Expedition Team will expertly navigate the shifting ice and weather to deliver the best possible encounters and landings—each one a chance to walk where few have ever stepped.

Whether you’re paddling a kayak in silent coves, plunging into the bracing Arctic Ocean, or simply scanning the horizon from the ship’s deck with binoculars in hand, every day offers moments of awe and personal triumph. You’ll gain new perspectives through enriching lectures, feel the deep stillness of ancient landscapes, and perhaps most memorably, sense the thrill of standing on the edge of the known world.

This voyage is ideal for curious, adventurous travelers—nature lovers, photographers, history buffs, and those drawn to remote frontiers. You won’t just visit the Arctic; you’ll immerse yourself in its silence, its spectacle, and its stories. Expect to return home feeling deeply changed, with polar tales and transformative memories that will stay with you long...
