Highlights

  • Connect with fellow adventurers and honor trailblazing female conservationists on this unique women-focused Antarctic voyage.
  • Choose from excursions for all interests—easy walks, challenging hikes, Zodiac cruises, or water activities like kayaking.
  • Skip the Drake and fly to Antarctica, saving days at sea and maximizing exploration time on the stunning Antarctic Peninsula.

Leap over the turbulent Drake Passage and dive straight into the heart of Antarctica on this immersive 10-day fly-cruise expedition. Starting from Punta Arenas, Chile, you’ll board a charter flight that takes you directly to King George Island, launching your Antarctic adventure from the South Shetland Islands without the days-long sail across open ocean. Once there, the western Antarctic Peninsula becomes your spectacular playground—an untouched, ice-carved realm brimming with wildlife, stark silence, and jaw-dropping scenery.

Traveling in late summer, you’ll experience Antarctica during its most active and accessible time of year, when nearly 24 hours of daylight illuminate calving glaciers, curious penguins, and feeding whales. Humpbacks, Minkes, and even Orcas patrol the icy waters, while fur seals lounge along pebbled shores and massive seabirds circle overhead. Whether you’re cruising by Zodiac through towering icebergs, stepping ashore to visit bustling penguin rookeries, or scaling ridgelines for sweeping views, every moment promises wild, unfiltered wonder.

Onboard, enjoy warm comforts and thoughtful amenities—hot jacuzzis overlooking the ice, cozy lounges with panoramic views, and inspiring lectures from your expedition team. You’ll also be surrounded by the stories of trailblazing female scientists and conservationists, whose legacies shape not only the ship’s interior but also its mission to foster environmental stewardship and education.

This voyage is more than a cruise—it’s a feat of modern exploration. By setting foot in one of the most remote and pristine environments on Earth, you’ll join a rare group who have experienced Antarctica not just as tourists, but as conscious explorers. Ideal for adventurers short on time or sensitive to seasickness, this journey offers a direct gateway to the White Continent’s raw magic—leaving you forever changed, awe-inspired, and ready to speak on behalf of the wild pl...

Day 1

Arrive in Punta Arenas

Arrive in Punta Arenas, where you will be met by a representative and transferred to our hotel. We ask that you arrive no later than 2.00 pm so that you may attend our important briefing this evening.

Please visit the hospitality desk in the lobby between 2.00 pm – 6.00 pm to collect your luggage cabin tags. Our team will confirm details regarding your embarkation day, answer any questions and provide you with information about where to dine or purchase last minute items.

Overlooking the Straits of Magellan, the city sits astride one of the world’s most historic trade routes. Today, Punta Arenas reflects a great blend of cultural backgrounds, from English sheep ranchers to Portuguese sailors. It remains an utterly fascinating testament to Chile’s rich history. Modern day Punta Arenas is home to many popular restaurants, and bars, offering a mix of local and international fare (meals at your own expense today).

At 7.00 pm this evening, meet your fellow expeditioners at a voyage briefing where we will reconfirm your transfer times for tomorrow, explain the procedures for your flight to King George Island and outline important IAATO regulations for visitors to Antarctica.
