Highlights

  • Witness Antarctica’s peak whale migration as Humpbacks, Minkes and Fins surge through krill-rich waters beneath endless summer light.
  • Immerse yourself in Zodiac cruises, glacier-lined bays and penguin-filled shores as expert guides reveal shifting ice realms and hidden wildlife.
  • Relish near-24-hour daylight for hikes, historic sites and the polar plunge, forging rare memories shaped by mighty seas and towering ice cliffs.

Embrace the exhilarating spirit of Antarctica on this remarkable voyage timed to coincide with the region’s peak whale migration, when Humpback, Minke and Fin whales gather in astonishing numbers across the nutrient-rich waters that fringe the Antarctic Peninsula. Sailing from Ushuaia via the storied Drake Passage, you’ll enter a world defined by ice—towering glaciers, drifting bergs, and vast white horizons—where wildlife thrives in one of the planet’s last great wildernesses.

As late-season light lingers nearly around the clock, the landscape glows with extraordinary clarity, offering unrivaled photography and extended opportunities for exploration. Each day brings a new adventure designed by seasoned expedition leaders: Zodiac cruises among grounded icebergs, landings to visit bustling penguin rookeries, and serene hikes to sweeping viewpoints where mountains rise straight from the sea. Optional pursuits—from the polar plunge to kayaking or camping—let you shape your Antarctic story as boldly as you wish.

Throughout the journey, time on deck and in the observation lounge invites quiet awe as seabirds wheel overhead and whales surface close by, reminding you of the raw power and grace of the Southern Ocean. Crossing these storied waters, following the migratory paths of giants, and stepping ashore on the White Continent itself is a feat few ever accomplish—one that leaves travelers changed, inspired, and deeply connected to the natural world.

This itinerary is ideal for wildlife enthusiasts, photographers, and anyone longing for a transformative journey marked by discovery, wonder, and a rare chance to witness one of nature’s greatest seasonal spectacles.
